AMAZING!!! If I could give more stars I would! Jennifer was beyond awesome to work with! She took my entire concept and brought it to life exactly how we decided on. Not only that but she went above and beyond and offered suggestions on vendors and so many other aspects of the wedding which was so helpful (especially since I was an out of town bride). She was always available if I had questions, ideas or changes I wanted to make. The lighting literally made the wedding!! From the chandeliers and crystal candle holders in the trees to the beautiful gold lanterns and mercury glass goblets everywhere, it was gorgeous!!!! I had all blush peonies and roses on the tables which were so beautiful but the lighting totally took the cake and completed the entire look. Had I not have had Jennifer I would of never been able to achieve the ambiance I wanted. My guests kept coming up to me and saying that they have never seen such beautiful candles and lighting done at wedding. I received many vendor proposals and really did my homework prior to choosing one and Firefly surpassed all event lighting company's and totally surpassed my expectations! Her prices are extremely fair and well worth the investment especially after seeing how much work goes into coming up with a design concept, set up and breakdown. The lighting made so much more of an impact and brought my event design to the next level. When my guest were walking in their jaws were dropping and I really believe that was because of all the lighting that Firefly did. It was so different from the typical wedding decor. If you are going to choose anyone to invest in and trust with lighting or candle event design she would be the only one to choose!!! Firefly Ambiance recently did the candles for my wedding reception at Pavilion of Two Sisters in City Park. There really are no words to explain how amazing they are. I had seen some of their pictures, but walking into the reception I was blown away by the elegance andatmosphere their candles provided. In addition to being so reasonably priced and making such an impact visually, Jen is the nicest person to work with! She fielded my calls and handled my bridey craziness with ease. I would recommend firefly to anyone!!! In fact, some of our guests had children who are currently planning their weddings and after attending our reception decided to add candles to theirs! With all the things to consider when looking at your budget it can be hard to determine what is really worth it. Firefly is definitely worth it! You will wow your guests!!

Working with Jennifer at Firefly Ambiance was super easy! I sent over pictures of ideas that I had for my wedding to which she quickly responded with a very detailed (which I LOVE!) proposal. The proposal told me how many of what would be where which helped me to envision the candle design. I was very confident after speaking with her a few times that she knew exactly what I was looking for and was extremely capable of handling the task. A few months before the wedding, we met at her warehouse, discussed and changed a few things, and finalized the proposal. It really was as easy as that. Ladies, if you need someone to handle the candle and/or décor for an event or your big day, look no further! During our initial contact, Jennifer referred to my wedding décor designs as a "dream wedding", and that is exactly what her and her team gave my husband and I. We walked into The Chicory, and the sight was absolutely breathtaking. There were candles and lanterns everywhere. It was exactly what I envisioned my reception to look like. Jennifer made it all come to life for us! Honestly, if the groom compliments the décor (really anything other than the alcohol or food), you know something was done right! Okay where do I begin. TLDR: If you're looking for a professional who can make magic happen on any budget, go ahead and hire Richard at Firefly Ambiance. I can't say enough great things about working with him. I didn't have a full blown wedding planner, and being a new bride, I was completely overwhelmed about the direction to go to accomplish the vibe I was going for. From my first call with Richard, he made me feel fully supported and walked me through several options that helped me narrow down certain decision making points. One thing I loved about Richard is that he never tried to sell me on anything; at every step, he suggested ways to make things cost efficient, what to prioritize for the budget based on my vision, and thought of ways to make my vision come to life beyond what I'd thought of. I basically gave him very minimal direction about the warm, magical light vibe I was going for, and he executed. He also didn't get upset when I called him various times with decision making questions; he validated me and reassured me about the decisions we'd made. About a week before my wedding, we realized we had not talked through a rain plan for my outdoor ceremony; due to the rain forecast, we weren't able to carry out the initial ceremony candles in the way I wanted to. But despite the constraints, he thought on his feet and found a way to use them in a way that still made the space feel magical. I can't thank Richard enough, he was a dream to work with!

My wedding was in October this past year at the Audubon Zoo Swamp Exhibit. I honestly had no clue as far as decor and lighting for the exhibit so I contacted Jennifer. The first time I had a meeting with her, she completely amazed me, her ideas are wonderful and her attention todetail is amazing. She was so helpful and even met with me at the venue a few times to give me ideas. She really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. When I first saw the venue for my wedding I was speechless! It was so perfect! I really can't thank Jennifer enough for making my venue better than I ever expected.

I absolutely loved working with Jennifer and her team! They are definitely pricy but when I shopped around to other vendors, they were no more expensive than what everyone else was charging in the New Orleans area. They have an extensive collection of candles, votives,chandeliers, lanterns, and anything else you would need to make your wedding pop. My husband and I (as well as all of our guests) were blown away by the décor at our wedding. Truly unforgettable ambiance and definitely worth every penny spent!

I was a little on the fence about using a vendor for lighting because we were trying to trim the budget, but we decided to go with Firefly to illuminate our dance floor and the backdrop behind our cake, and I'm SOOO glad that we did!! We got married at Musee Conti, and it looked like a fairytale when we walked in! The lights over the dance floor where exactly what we needed for a little ambiance. We did a large lighting backdrop behind our wedding cake, and it made everything pop! The photos are absolutely stunning. I highly, highly recommend Firefly Ambiance to really make your wedding venues sparkle!

Richard was fantastic! He took our vision and ran with it, making it better than we could have every imagined. He was extremely patient and communicative as we planned our wedding from out of town. He also is so incredibly kind and stayed back after set up so we could officially meet. We would HIGHLY recommend him for any event!

I decided that I only wanted candles at our reception - no flowers - but we had a really large venue and I was a little concerned about it being a bit underwhelming. Jennifer and Firefly Ambiance really did a beautiful job making the reception whimsical, especially on the stairs. The one downside that we really experienced is that she could sometimes be a bit difficult to get hold of but we can be demanding customers and Jennifer had the patience of a saint.
